AMMONIUM SULFATE NITRATE

Granular Nitrogen-Sulfur Fertilizer for Balanced Crop Nutrition

What Is ASN Fertilizer?

ASN fertilizer, or Ammonium Sulfate Nitrate, is a granular nitrogen-sulfur fertilizer that supplies both nitrate nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen together with sulfur.

Risso ASN 26-0-0+13S contains 26% total nitrogen and 13% sulfur, providing a concentrated N+S fertilizer for crop nutrition programs.

Nitrate and ammonium provide complementary forms of nitrogen, while sulfur supports important plant processes including amino acid and protein synthesis and nitrogen metabolism. ASN can be used in basal and top-dressing programs according to crop requirements, soil nutrient status and local agronomic recommendations.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

ASN fertilizer stands for Ammonium Sulfate Nitrate. It is a granular nitrogen-sulfur fertilizer that provides both nitrate and ammonium nitrogen together with sulfur.

ASN 26-0-0+13S indicates a fertilizer grade containing 26% total nitrogen, no declared phosphate or potash, and 13% sulfur.

ASN 26-0-0+13S provides two primary nutrients: 26% total nitrogen and 13% sulfur. The nitrogen is supplied in nitrate and ammonium forms.

ASN provides both nitrogen and sulfur, with nitrogen supplied in nitrate and ammonium forms. Urea typically contains a higher nitrogen concentration but does not provide sulfur.

ASN contains both nitrate and ammonium nitrogen with sulfur, while ammonium sulfate primarily supplies ammonium nitrogen together with a higher sulfur concentration.

ASN can be used in nutrient management programs for crops such as wheat, corn, rice, barley, sorghum, canola, rapeseed, sunflower, cotton, sugarcane, tobacco, vegetables and selected fruit crops. Application should be based on crop requirements and local agronomic recommendations.

ASN can be applied as a basal fertilizer, top dressing, broadcasting application or split application, depending on crop requirements, soil conditions and local agronomic recommendations.

A reference range of 150–600 kg/ha may be used for planning purposes, but actual application rates should be determined according to crop nutrient requirements, soil test results, yield targets and local agronomic recommendations.

Risso ASN fertilizer can be supplied in 25 kg and 50 kg bags, as well as 500 kg and 1000 kg jumbo bags, subject to order requirements. Customized packaging may also be available for qualified customers.
